Merc rx and job applications, Part 2

This last Mercury retrograde is pretty interesting for some of the coincidences it sent up.

On 9 June, I posted an entry about Mercury retrograde and job applications, and how my applications were affected by mistakes and server breakdowns.

 

Merc rx in Cancer, June/July 2007: Global events

Mercury retrogrades from 11° 35′ Cancer to 2° 28′ Cancer from 15 June to 9 July 2007. The back-end shadow period lasts from 31 May to 14 June and the front-end shadow period from 10 July to 24 July 2007.

As the retrograde period draws to a close, it occurred to me that I ought to make a list of the major events occurring over this period, for future reference. My astrology isn’t good enough to consult their charts at the moment (plus work and time don’t permit me to do so!), but perhaps over time, a pattern will emerge.

 

When not to launch a new gadget

During Mercury retrograde, of course. Now, I’m an Apple fan, but this time I wonder if part of the development budget for a new product ought not to go into astrologers’ fees.

Merc rx in Cancer: ‘Feel first, think second’

It is the night of the Capricorn Full Moon; and it feels about right to be posting more about this Merc rx in Cancer. The retrograde Mercury is very nearly conjunct the Sun and will oppose the Full Moon; and also be in a wide opposition to Pluto in late Sagittarius.

We are well into this Mercury retrograde in Cancer now, and I still feel like a salmon swimming upstream. As a break, I was doing some reading on Mercury and found out that it is the only androgynous planet.
